fairly unproductive day
It was just another day. Got up a bit later and didn't do much but around 7pm Kris and I started clearing out the spare bedroom. We're cleaning it up in anticipation of getting a trundle bed, removing her spare queen sized bed and putting in another desk as well. I need to go up into the attic to figure out how I'm going to run cable and networking in there too. Overall I hope to make it a kick ass room that either her or I can work or relax in when we want to.
Just going through her stuff and realizing how much junk I've brought over here is amazing. It really allows you to notice how small this place is when you don't have room to store anything. Oh and our new house WILL HAVE A BASEMENT.
Other than that, I spent the day musing the web and looking at PC hardware mod sites. I've gotten the itch to put a nice lcd on my case to do nothing. More toys to keep my easily bored mind occupied. It sucks though because I feel like it drains my wallet, adds junk to the house and only satisifes me for a short while. I do like tinkering much more with hardware than software though. Maybe that will change if I seriously try to write some code for openbsd to control the HP Maxilife display panel on the front of our "router". I also need more hard disk space.
