Old friends...
I went out to dinner with my buddies from Denmark. We had a gas and I met a new person who is in training. She was a very nice person to talk to who is a well seasoned traveler. We talked a bit about Asia because she spent something like 3 months backpacking and exploring Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Anyway I love making new friends, and it's wonderful to see the old ones as well.
Tomorrow is the department Christmas pitch in which should be alright. I've been pretty isolated from people while I've been working offsite but generally this week looks like it's starting off good. An old friend of mine tried to contact me via irc last night but I wasn't around. I really don't know how to feel about it. It was one of those "net" things but more. Anyway I'm interested to see how she's doing, I haven't talked to her in years, well since I broke things off really. Confusing times.
