"iPod users are stupid" -- Napster CEO
MacMischief - Get Your Daily Dose - Napster CEO calls iPod users "stupid"
The Napster CEO must have read the Cluetrain Manifesto because it says "Treat your customers like they are numbers." Oh wait, no it doesn't.
The 2nd of the 95 theses reads, "Markets consist of human beings, not demographic sectors." The third reads, "Conversations among human beings sound human. They are conducted in a human voice."
I'm sure one could argue calling people stupid sounds human and could be done in a human voice but perhaps it's not a nice thing to do. The next most "stupid" thing to do when you're trying to sell people a product is call them stupid.
